Computer
Troubleshooters provides a remote support service for times when an on-site call
is not necessary to fix a minor problem. This service is priced lower per hour
than our on-site service.
The remote
service program is downloaded and started by you from our web site. Only after
you download and start the remote service application will we be able to access
you computer.
NOTE: We
never have the ability to control or access you computer unless you
initiate it.

to start the download of the Remote Support program.
Depending
on your browser you will receive some sort of dialog box asking if you wish to
Run or Save the program. Click Run to use the program one time, or click Save
if you wish to keep a copy of the program for future use. Saving the program
does NOT give us the ability to access your computer without your permission or
knowledge. (If you choose Save you will have to double click on the program
icon to proceed to the next step.)
Next
you may receive a security warning. Allow the program to run by clicking RUN.

When
the program starts you will see a grey box. Double click on the sentence
“Double click to initiate connection”. This will attempt to contact our
computer and activate the remote session.
When
the service is complete we will disconnect and the program will end. We can not
reconnect without you starting the remote service program again.
